YORK COUNTY ALLIANCE FOR LEARNING ANNOUNCED AS A 2019 NONPROFIT INNOVATION AWARDS FINALIST

YORK, PA – The York County Alliance for Learning (YCAL) is pleased to announce that along with a select few charitable organizations in the region, the organization has been recognized as a finalist in the 2019 Nonprofit Innovation Awards program. [An alphabetical listing of all finalists follows at the end of this press release.] 

An awards breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 20, from 7:30AM to 10:00AM at the Valencia Ballroom, York to recognize 29 central Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations and their leaders for developing creative ways to help the region’s citizens with limited resources. 

The York County Alliance for Learning was nominated within the category of “Collaborations” for their work with Kinsley Education Center to launch the Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program in 2017-2018. During the program, the winning organization in each category will be revealed and they will receive a check to continue their good work in our community.
