"YCAL supports our school district's Vision and Mission in tangible and important ways at multiple levels. For students, the Career Exploration Program is a great opportunity for our students to work with a mentor in an internship in students’ specified fields. For teachers, the Career Education and Work Standards Symposium, Innovation Grants, and the Educator in the Workplace course are effective in promoting career awareness and preparation. Additionally, School Directors have an opportunity to be recognized for their years of service, to share ideas, and to network at the annual School Directors' Dinner."

- Ronald E. Dyer, Ed.D., Dallastown Area School District, Superintendent
