Educators
YCAL works with businesses and schools to provide career education, relevant academic experiences, and work based experiences for educators and students in York County. YCAL understands the important role that educators have in the success of our future workforce. With that in mind, the following programs are available to York County educators:
Educator in the Workplace Tours
The Educator in the Workplace Tour program is a series of tours arranged by YCAL that allows educators the opportunity to visit various workplaces that are of interest to them throughout the year. The goal of this program is to build connections, foster collaboration, and assist educators in maintaining relevant career and workforce awareness.
Innovation Grants
This program provides educators with access to capital to implement classroom innovation regarding career exploration and awareness in the form of seed money grants, up to $2,000 each.
School Directors’ Dinner
This program recognizes school board members for their years of service and share York County student successes. YCAL utilizes the opportunity to interact with our local school directors and highlight at least one YCAL program to showcase.
