Career Education and Work Standards Symposium

An event for York County educators focused on the Career Education and Work Standards. This event encourages empowerment by providing each educator in attendance with valuable resources and tools to adapt to the grade level in which they specialize.  Event registration is open to all teachers K-12 affiliated with our K-12 Partner Schools.

The 2023 YCAL Career Education and Work Standards Symposium will take place on Thursday October 19, 2023 at York County School of Technology. Arrival, check-in, and dinner will begin as early as 4:00PM, with the event officially starting at 5:00PM. The event will wrap-up at 7:30PM.

This is an event for York County educators, focused on Career Education and Work Standards, which are vital to a school’s plan for students’ career readiness.

The Symposium is open to all K-12 Educators from YCAL Partner Schools/Districts. This event encourages empowerment and the integration of career education into all grade levels and curriculum within our K-12 schools. Attendees will participate in breakout groups by their designated grade level and be provided with valuable resources to utilize in their classrooms in the spirit of collaboration.
